AIDA2 Prerequisites

- Be 18 years of age or older (16 or 17 years old with parent or guardian consent)
- Can swim at least 200m non-stop without fins or at least 300m non-stop with mask, fins and snorkel*

* Note: If you don’t meet this requirement, you can sign up for AIDA1 course first.

Requirements

Static Apnea: 2 minutes STA
Dynamic Apnea: 40 meters DYNB
Depth: 12~20 meters CWTB
Theoretical exam: passing score 75%

Depth Rescue: 5~8 meters

Standard Course Content

Course Duration: 2.5 Day

The course includes:

Theory session (1): Covers freediving knowledge, physiology, breathing and relaxation techniques, and safety education

Theory exam (1)

Confined water sessions (2): STA (static) training, DYN/DNF training - to learn relaxation, breathing, finning and safety and rescue techniques

Open water sessions (3): Free immersion dives, constant weight dives - to learn basic skills of open water freediving such as equalizing, duck diving, vertical swimming, body positioning, turns and use of buoyancy

Note: The course must be completed within 6 months, with open water sessions required to be completed within 3 months. Additional fees may apply for incomplete components beyond this period.

The AIDA2 course is available with two course location options:

Option 1: Deep Dive Dubai, UAE | Option 2: Pool + East Coast, UAE

Option 1: AIDA2 – 2.5-Day Course at Deep Dive Dubai (Recommended)

Fee: AED 3,500 (3~4 pax) | AED 3,750 (2 pax) | AED 7,000 (private)

Schedule: 2.5 days, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Other timings available on request

Location: Deep Dive Dubai – 60m indoor freshwater pool, 30°C, with stunning underwater scenery

Option 2: AIDA2 – Pool + East Coast Course

Fee: AED 3,000 Discounts: AED 2,750 (2 pax) | AED 2,500 (4 pax)

Schedule & Location:

• Tue 6–9PM: Theory + Static – Al Furjan Club / Hamdan, Dubai

• Thu 6–9PM: Theory + Dynamic – Hamdan Pool, Dubai

• Sat/Sun 9:30AM–12:30PM: Depth – Dibba Bay, Fujairah
